Introduction: "For Agricultural Use". Isocycloseram 9.2% w/w DC is a broad spectrum contact insecticide, recommended for its use to control Jassids and Red spider mites, Shoot and fruit borer in Brinjal: Leaf feeder, DBM in cabbage, Mites Thrips; Fruit borers in Chili; Jassids, thrips, Bollworms in Cotton; Gram pod borer. Spotted pod borer in Red gram; Leaf miner, Leaf feeders, thrips, Jassids in Groundnut and Leaf worm, Semi loopers, Girdle Beetle Stem fly in Soybean crops, it contains 100 g Isocycloseram as an active ingredient in one liter of the formulated product.
Good practices relating to pesticide application techniques covering the following:
(1) Weather conditions (in general): Do not spray during the windy weather conditions or during hot hours of the day, if the foliage is wet or if rain is imminent. Spray strictly in direction of the wind to prevent prolonged or repeated exposure to the spray mist. Do not under dose or overdose by overlapping applications or by exceeding the recommended rate.
(ii) Soil and Water (wherever applicable): This is not a soil applied insecticide hence, not applicable. Do not contaminate water used for irrigation or domestic purpose and water areas such as flowing or stagnant water, ponds, ditches, lakes, drainage systems, etc., by disposal of product waste, direct over spray or spray drift.
(iii) Crops stage for application: Give first spray when insect pests reach ETL. Repeat another one spray at 10-15 days interval depending upon pest pressure.
(iv) Application techniques: Foliar spray.
(v) Equipment type: Spray with knapsack or any other suitable sprayer.
(vi) Nozzle type: Hollow cone nozzle or any other suitable nozzle.
(vii) Dosage: Given in the table above.
(viii) Directions for use / Instructions for mixing: Measure out required quantity of the product and mix it well with a small quantity of water. Add the remaining quantity of water as specified with thorough agitation for total coverage of crop with suitable sprayer.
(ix) Re-entry period: Do not enter treated areas for 24 hours after each application.
(x) Pre-harvest interval: Given in the table above.

(xi) Manner & Time of Application: Give first spray when insect pests reach ETL. Repeat another one spray at 10-15 days interval depending upon pest pressure. (xii) Frequency including maximum number of application: Give first spray when insect pests reach ETL. Repeat another one
spray at 10-15 days interval depending upon pest pressure. Maximum two applications per crop season.
(xiii) Stages during which pesticide should not be applied on any crop: Incase of insecticides, application is initiated based on Economic Threshold level (ETL). As such there is no restriction about stage of crop unlike in herbicides.
(xiv) Phytotoxicity: Non phytotoxic when applied at recommended dose.
