Stock Content - Chlorfenapyr 10% SC
Stock Category -Insecticide
Chlorfenapyr 10% SC is an insecticide & acaricide with mainly stomach and some contact action exhibiting good translaminar activity in plants. It is recommended to control diamond back moth in cabbage plants and mites in chili crop.
Phytoxicity:- Not Phytotoxic at recommended dosages,
Time of Application and Crop Stage:- Chlorfenapyr 10% SC can be applied when pest reaches to ETL.
Weather conditions:- Should be applied preferably in the morning and evening. Avoid applications under high wind. Should not be applied within 2 hours of anticipated rainfall.
Soil: -This is foliar application insecticide. So hardly have any relation to soil.
Application technique, equipment type, nozzle type:- Spray the insecticide using a knapsack sprayer or with power operated sprayers fitted with high or low volume nozzles.
Dosage:- As per the recommendation given in the table above.
Instruction for Mixing:- Mix thoroughly the recommended quantity of the Chlorfenapyr 10% SC and mix it well with a small quantity of water. Add the remaining quantity of water as specified through agitation.
Re-entry period:- 24 hours after spraying.
PHI:- Cabbage-7 days and Chilli-5 days.
Application timing:- No restriction.
Frequency including maximum number of sprays:- 2 sprays can be recommended.
Not to be used on crops other than mentioned on this label/leaflet.
Storage:-
1. The package containing the insecticide shall be stored in separate rooms or premises away from the rooms or premises used for storing other articles particularly articles of food or shall be kept in separate almirahs under lock and key depending upon the quantity and nature of insecticide.
2. The rooms or premises meant for storing the insecticide shall be well built, airy, well lit and ventilated and of sufficient dimension to avoid contamination with vapor.
Precautions:-
1. Avoid inhalation and skin contact while diluting because of spillage or splashes. Do not mix with bare hands.
2. The user should use full protective clothing, which includes rubber gloves, boots, either face shield or dust mask and overall or rubber apron or hat.
Disposal of containers:-
1. It shall be the duty of manufacturers, formulators of insecticides and operators to dispose packages of surplus material and washings in a safe manner so as to prevent environmental and water pollution.
2. The used packages shall not be left outside to prevent their re-use.
3. Packages shall be broken and buried away from habitation.
Poisoning symptoms:- Lethargy, lacrimation, tremor, convulsion, irritation to mucous membrane, respiratory distress, paralysis, distress and diarrhea. 
 First aid:-
If ingested: if person is conscious and alert, rinse mouth with water and give 1 or 2 glass of water to drink. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call the doctor. Do not induced vomiting until and unless desired by attending physician.
If inhaled: Take the patient to fresh air and take care of body temperature. If patient is not breathing or breathing with difficulty, give artificial respiration, Consult a physician.
In case of skin contact: Wash thoroughly the affected part of body with soap and plenty of water including hairs and under fingernails. If pain, redness or irritation persists, consult a doctor. All contaminated clothes should be segregated and thoroughly washed with soap and water separately before use.
 In case of eye contact: Rinse gently with plenty of water at least for 15 minutes. If pain, irritation, redness or photophobia persists. Consult eye specialist. 
Antidote: There is no known specific antidote. Treat the patient symptomatically.
Cautionary statement:-
1. This product is toxic to honey bees so do not spray during active honeybees foraging period of the day.
2. Product is toxic to aquatic organism hence should not be used near Water bodies, aquaculture/ pisciculture area.
3. Product is highly toxic to birds.
