Manner, Time of Application:- Apply directed spray when the incidences of the pests mentioned above are observed. Using knap sack sprayer, tractor mounted sprayer/low volume sprayer or motorized power sprayer fitted with hollow cone nozzle.

Good practices for application:-Weather conditions Spray preferably during morning and evening hours. Do not apply on a windy day or before rain.

Crop stage for application: -May be applied to the above-mentioned crops at any stage of crop growth when the incidence of pests is observed. Spray uniformly and ensure proper coverage of the spray on the plant.

Instruction for mixing/ Preparation of spray solution:- Add slowly the required quantity of insecticide to water and stir well with stick or rad. While preparing large quantity of spray solution add insecticide to bucket half filled with water. Stir and then empty the pre solution in the bulk of water.

Application Timing:- Spray preferably during morning and evening hours. Avoid application on a windy day or before rain.

Frequency and maximum number of sprays:- One or two sprays may be applied to the above-mentioned crops at any stage of crop growth when the incidence of pests is observed using hollow cone nozzle.

Storage: -The package containing insecticide should be stored in original containers in a separate room or almirah under lock and key in cool and dry place away from the reach of children, food & animal feeds and other articles. The premise should be well built, well lit, sufficient in dimension and well ventilated.

Disposal of Empty containers:-

Disposal of used packages, surplus materials and washings of insecticides.

1. It shall be the duty of the manufacturer, formulator of insecticide and operators to dispose packages or surplus material and washings in a safe manner so as to prevent environmental or water pollution.

2. The used packages shall not be left outside to prevent their re-use.

3. The packages shall be broken and buried away from habitation.

Precautions: -Use good personal hygiene. Do not consume or store food in the work area, Wash hands and exposed skin before eating, drinking or smoking and after work. Avoid eye contact. For most conditions, no respiratory protection should be be needed. In dusty atmospheres, use an approved particulate respirator. Use chemically resistant gloves and wear clean body covering. Use chemical goggles for eye and face protection. Symptoms of Poisoning: No specific symptoms are known. May cause vomiting, dizziness, nausea and headache.

First Aid: -

If ingested:- If person is conscious and alert, rinse mouth with water and give 1 or 2 glass of water to drink. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call the doctor. Do not induce vomiting until and unless desired by attending physician. If inhaled: Take the patient to fresh unless take care of body temperature. If patient is not breathing or breathing with difficulty, give respirations, preferably with mouth to mouth breathing. Consult a physician.

In case of skin contact:- Wash thoroughly the affected part of the body with soap and plenty of water including hair and under finger nails. If pain, redness or irritation persists, consult a doctor. All the contaminated clothes should be segregated and thoroughly washed with soap and water separately before use.

In case of eye contact:- Rinse gently with plenty of water at least for 15 minutes. If pain, irritation, redness or photophobia persists, consult eye specialist.

Antidote:- No specific antidote available. Treat symptomatically

Cautionary Statement:-

 i) Not to be used for any purpose other than Statement leaflets

ii)Destroy the container after use as directed on leaflet; and

iii) The product is highly toxic to bees exposed to direct treatment and thus should be avoided during active bee-foraging period of the day.

iv) The product is highly toxic to fish and aquatic vertebrate and may be avoided near aquaculture.
